Revenge porn and an OJ Simpson reference: Swift vs Kardashian feud hits new low

Kardashian West set the internet ablaze when she revealed her greatest home video to date – the possibly illegally taped conversation between West, 39, and Swift, 26.

Not satisfied with dismantling Swift’s public image, Kardashian West, 35, decided to keep on trolling the Shake It Off singer, along with three of her adult sisters. (Their youngest sibling, Kylie Jenner, 18, had the sense to sit this one out, instead using the media scrutiny on the family to promote her beauty range, like the good little capitalist that Kris Jenner has reared.)

While Team Kardashian-West had ammunition on their side, Team Swift were not going down without a fight.

Swift’s squad of besties, namely singer Selena Gomez, actor Chloe Moretz and Australian actor Ruby Rose, rallied and jumped on social media to support their leader (and definitely not because it was the biggest story of the day and it would send some publicity their way).

Anti-Kardashian krusader Moretz, 19, who is dating Victoria and David Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn, called for everyone to take the high road because the drama was “petulant and unimportant”. Without naming them directly, she also called for Kardashian West and her husband to take their heads out of “a hole”.

Kardashian West’s younger sister Khloe, 32, took the teenager’s comments personally and decided to seek retribution by posting an explicit picture of Moretz on her Twitter account for her 21.2 million followers to see – an act so low it has been deemed revenge porn. Everyone in this industry needs to get their heads out of a hole and look around to realize what’s ACTUALLY happening in the REAL world— Chloë Grace Moretz (@ChloeGMoretz) July 18, 2016Nobody likes being bullied or made to feel worthless.. Yet so many people will go above and beyond to make others feel that way.— Ruby Rose (@RubyRose) July 18, 2016I’m the last person to bully but have an animal instinct to protect and defend my family.— Khloé (@khloekardashian) July 18, 2016Refrain from commenting on my family and OUR business (and I will do the same)— Khloé (@khloekardashian) July 18, 2016

Moretz has denied that the picture, which shows a woman in bikini photographed at an unfortunate angle, is of her.

While everyone was siting back, aghast at the events unfolding between the biggest names on the planet, Khloe’s disgusting post brought the whole tone down, so it was left to Melbourne-born Rose, 30, to provide some moral compass.

The Orange is the New Black star, who recently attended Swift’s exclusive, VIP July 4 celebrations, tried to reason with Khloe.

“Yo Khloe I thought you were rad when I met you but this is awful and this is a 19 year old girl,” Ruby wrote, defending Moretz.

She added: “Nobody likes being bullied or made to feel worthless.. Yet so many people will go above and beyond to make others feel that way.”

The Kardashian sibling denied she was a “bully”, and told Rose and Moretz to mind their own business – despite just starring in the 12th season of her family’s reality TV show that airs their dramas, including her ex-husband’s stroke from a drug overdose at a brothel and her brother, Rob, impregnating her half-sister’s boyfriend’s son’s mother, Blac Chyna.

“I’m the last person to bully but have an animal instinct to protect and defend my family,” Khloe wrote.

“Refrain from commenting on my family and OUR business (and I will do the same).”

As promised, the tone of this argument is at an all-time low, reminiscent of a drunken bar brawl in Kings Cross before the lockout laws or Today Extra host Sonia Kruger calling on Australia to stop taking Muslim immigrants.

It sunk to new depths when Swift’s friend Joseph Kahn, 43, who directed her video for hit Bad Blood – that catchy, award-winning tune she wrote about her other arch-nemesis Katy Perry – compared Swift’s treatment by Kardashian West to the murder of Nicole Brown.

Lawyer Robert Kardashian, Kim & Co’s father, was a close friend of O.J. Simpson and helped Simpson’s defence team during the trial for the murder of his ex-wife, Brown.

“Ain’t the first time the Kardashians supported the murder of an innocent blonde woman,” Kahn wrote.

To recap, Swift is currently kicking back in the Gold Coast with her new British, Emmy-nominated boyfriend, Tom Hiddleston, while Brown, a mother-of-two, was stabbed to death alongside her friend, Ron Goldman, in a brutal double homicide.

Gomez, one of Swift’s many BFFs, also got trolled when she wrote a series of tweets asking celebrities to use their fame for good, also aimed not so subtly at Kardashian West and her sisters.

“There are more important things to talk about… Why can’t people use their voice for something that f—ing matters?” she asked.

People started to ask her why she hasn’t been outspoken for the Black Lives Matter movement, like Kardashian-West.

“Good question Good question! Why haven’t you or Taylor not said a thing about #BlackLivesMatter or police brutality?” one asked.

Another added: “U never speak up on Latina issues and you’re some of the only representation we have, stop embarrassing us.”

Meanwhile, master puppeteer Kris Jenner is too busy counting dollar bills and possibly penning a book called “How To Stay Relevant” to weigh in on the debacle.
